Astro Gymnastics are running classes during the Summer holidays while normal weekly classes are off! Anyone is welcome, members or non-members, so come along and bring a friend! Great opportunity to learn new skills, inflatable tumble track, gymnastics games, lots of gymnastics fun!!

NEW ADULT CLASS!!
We are happy to announce our new adult class at West Lothian College, Livingston. Sunday 11.00 - 12.30. This class is suitable for anyone over the age of 16 and beyond.... and is open to any ability. Throughout the duration of the session we will offer a warm up, introduction to general body conditioning, light stretching and will help to develop each individual’s skills within a gymnastics context. Each session will have a fully qualified coach leading the class and taking you through the progressions, there will also be the opportunity for those with a background knowledge and awareness of the sport to develop their own training within the session. Gymnastics offers so much more than just competition, this aspect of the sport develops co-ordination, flexibility, strength, endurance and balance, gymnastics is a great way of keeping fit and meeting new people in a relaxed and enjoyable environment.
Suitable for ex-gymnasts/dancers who want to keep up with their gymnastics and flexibility; adults involved in other activities ie dance, martial arts, looking for a class where they can gain some acrobatic skills and flexibility; or adults new to the sport who want to give it a go and have a bit of fun. This is a brand new class for Astro and we are really excited about it!! We will be running approx every 2 weeks, list of dates below. Class costs £5 and will run on as pay as you go basis to begin with. No need to book - just come along! See adult class tab for dates.
DANCE FOR GYMNASTICS CLASSES-TUESDAY'S AT WL COLLEGE
Operated by Astro’s Fiona Fyfe, BA(hons) in Dance,, these fun and dynamic classes are a fantastic introduction into dance!! Spaces available so come along any Tuesday night term time.
17.00 - 17.45 (The Girls, Introductory Age 4 - 9)
This class offers a variety of dance techniques such as beginners ballet, street dance, lyrical, jazz and creative. These classes are designed to help support the young gymnast/dancer evolve into a more confident performer working towards both competition and display.
17.45 - 18.30 (The Boys Age 4 - 9) This class offers a variety of street dance/breakdance and creative techniques. With high energy and creative routines! No need to book - just come along!
