ASTRO - THE GYMNASTS

At Astro, each member has an important role to play. Our pre-schoolers are our future competitors! Whether enjoying being active and part of a club, or training for competitions, everyone is valued. Training programmes are carefully thought out with each gymnast in mind using Award Schemes, sticker cards and performance opportunities to encourage our younger gymnasts. Gymnasts can progress into our competitive classes and display teams. Our older gymnasts go on to become coaches themselves and pass on their knowledge to the younger ones. We are very proud of our club, coaches and gymnasts.....go Team Astro!

"I have been in Astro since I was four years old. I like Astro Gymnastics because it takes children from 1 upwards and it teaches them to do things that they usually can’t do. The coaches are brilliant teachers, even though some are a bit bossy J The coaches are taught especially to teach brilliant moves to little children. It’s also good to see the older gymnasts. They help the younger ones by showing them the best way to do the moves. It is also cool to watch how well they do their moves.
